STANLEY Soprano Joann Martinson returns to the Sibyl Center in Stanley Sunday at 3 p.m., accompanied by award-winning Minot State faculty musicians Erik and Dianna Anderson on cello and piano.
Originally from North Dakota, Martinson received her bachelor's degree in music performance from Minot State University and is currently a graduate student at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. A top opera award-winner, she has also appeared with the Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra. Martinson recently returned from a one-month trip to, where she studied with the Lied Austria International program.
