BOTTINEAU A Bottineau couple is about to watch their second child star in a reality series and couldn't be more excited.
Deb and Mike Werner's 23-year-old son, Wyatt Werner, will be in "Burnout: The Ultimate Drag Race Challenge." The show premieres on MTV2 at 11 a.m. Saturday. According to MTV's Web site, the show is an eight-part, half-hour series that is equal parts competition show, build show and lifestyles show.
The show's premise is a competition between two teams of 10 students from the Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, Ariz., who are trying to build the best drag car in only 100 hours. The competition ends with a member of each team driving their drag car to determine the outcome. The winning team gets scholarships and cash prizes while the losing team gets to watched the car they worked so hard to build get crushed.
