On Feb. 19 the National Federation's Gold Cup Festival was held at Minot State University. Three-hundred seventy-two participants performed in several events. The festival was sponsored by the Minot Piano Teachers Club.

Earning a small gold cup for her piano solo in the Lynn Freeman Olson event was Quincie Mattick, Burlington.
Small cups were earned in the Piano Concerto event by Tara Troxel and Katelyn Webster, Minot.
Earning small cups for their Piano Duet were: Bergen Rutten and Madison Rutten, Minot.
In the Hymn Playing event, earning small cups were: Hudson Dahly, Alyssa Doering, Megan Doering, Alyssa Galster, Delaney Huss and Bergen Rutten, Minot and Justin Hart, Parshall.
In the Musical Theater category, earning small cups were: Shelby Bigelow, Makoti and Kaska Weidman, Parshall.
In the Vocal American Patriotic/Folk category, Shaylee Billadeau of Raub earned a small cup.
And, in the Violin Solo category, Karena Verbitsky of Minot earned her small cup.
Earning medium cups worth 30 or more points in Piano Solo were: Benjamin Helfrich, Berthold, Shawn Marshall, Burlington, Cassidy Limke, Carpio, Matthew English and Kristen Meland, Harvey, Elliot Savelkoul, Lansford, Natalia Wright, Maddock, Kailey Lemer, Martin, Sidni Kast, Krista Mathistad, Taylor Novak, Hyacinth Percell and Jack Tennyson, Minot, Kaska Weidman, Parshall, Andrea Skarphol, Ryder, Tressa Eide, Sherwood, Amanda Moen and Elizabeth Moen, Upham.
Earning a medium cup in the Piano Concerto event was Jacques Stanley, Minot.
A medium cup in Piano Duet was earned by Katie Rice, Maddock.

Earning a large cup for Hymn Playing event was Whitney Lee of Plaza.
And, earning Grand Cups worth 60 or more points in Piano Solo were Jasmine Percell, Minot and Jessica Vix, Sawyer.
