The Mid-Dakota Chapter of the American Red Cross, Exchange Club and the Veterans Center, all in Minot, are teaming up to promote giving to veterans in the community. The groups are holding a toiletries collection through this month.
The collection boxes, which were placed Tuesday, are located at the following collection points: Coldwell Bankers, the Veterans Center and the American Red Cross office.
Items being collected are toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, deodorant, bars of soap, Q-tips, hand soap and anything that could be considered a toiletry item.
