Kymn A. Quill and Loren Files announce their engagement. Her parents are Colman M. Quill of Minot, and Elodee L. Aus of Garner, Iowa. His parents are the late Violet and Gordon Files, who lived in Surrey.
She graduated from Minot State University with a bachelor of arts degree in theater. She works for Girl Scouts-Dakota Horizons.
He graduated from Surrey High School in 1996. He lived in Minneapolis for 10 years before coming back to Minot. He is a student at Minot State University. where he is pursuing a double major in history and sociology. He works at Xpress Mart in Minot.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 13, 2011.
