Kendra Carlson and Ben Kirklewski Jr. announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Their parents are Arvid and LaVonne Carlson, Minot, and Ben and Gretchen Kirklewski, West Fargo.
She graduated from Des Lacs-Burlington High School in 2002 and attends North Dakota State University in Fargo, where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in hospitality and tourism management. She is employed at the Spitfire Bar and Grill in West Fargo.
He graduated from West Fargo High School in 2003 and is employed by the Moorhead Country Club in Moorhead, Minn.
A Saturday, Sept. 25, wedding is planned at 4 p.m. in Olivet Lutheran Church in Fargo, followed by a reception in the Hilton Garden Inn in Fargo.
