Genevieve Hall and JD Smith announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Their parents are Carol and Steve Hall, Parshall, and Patty Smith, Hilger, Mont. and the late Richard Smith.
She graduated from New Town High School and from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration. She is employed by Trinity Health.
He graduated from Hobson High School in Montana and is owner/operator of Smith & Hall Trucking Inc. The couple resides in New Town.
The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 25, at 4 p.m. in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in New Town. The reception and dance will follow in the New Town Civic Center. No invitations are required for the ceremony, reception or dance.
