Shayna Rea Locken and Jared William Rognlien announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. She is the daughter of Renae and Duc Thiel and Skip and Dawn Locken of Stanley. He is the son of Maxine and John Rognlien, Towner.
She graduated from Stanley High School in 2005 and from Headquarters Academy of Hair Design in Minot in 2006. She is employed by Tri City Cares Inc. and works with individuals living in New Town.
He graduated from TGU-Towner High School in 2004 and is presently employed by Bronco Drilling Co. Inc. as an assistant driller.
There will be a small wedding Saturday, Aug. 28, at 3 p.m. in the rural Bethlehem Lutheran Church, northeast of New Town. A public reception at 7 p.m. and dance will follow in the State Fair Center's Theater Room at the State Fairgrounds in Minot. Invitations are not required; no local invitations will be sent.
