Cara McClean and Cole Christenson, Minneapolis, announce their engagement. Their parents are Phil and Renee McClean, Fargo, and Larry and Veronica Christenson, Kramer.
She graduated from Fargo North High School in 2004 and from North Dakota State University in Fargo in 2008. She is working toward obtaining her license as an alcohol and drug counselor while working as an intern at Hennepin County Detox in Minneapolis.
He graduated from Newburg United High School in 2002 and from North Dakota State University in Fargo in 2007. He is employed as a grain merchandiser at CHS Inc. in Minneapolis.
A Saturday, Sept. 4, wedding is planned at Island Park, Fargo.
