Curtis and Marlene Hill of Minot will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house Saturday, July 31, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Minot Moose Lodge. Their children and families will host the event. The couple requests no gifts. They live at 1309-17 1/2 Ave. SW.
Marlene Ballantyne and Curtis Hill were married July 31, 1960, in Minot. He worked for John Deere Co. for 33 years and for CHS Transportation for 16 years. She worked at Minot State College, at John Moses Veterans Hospital in Minot and later worked as a housekeeper in Minot.
Their children are Roxanne Fry, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Brent Hill, Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Craig Hill of Webster, S.D. They have one grandson, Ryan Fossen, Williston.
