Lois and Alger Arness of Minot will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house Saturday, July 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. in their home, 406-31st Ave. SE, No. 134. They request no gifts.
Lois Petersen and Alger Arness were married Nov. 12, 1950, in Makoti. He worked in natural gas processing in Tioga and Oklahoma until he retired. Their children are Mick, Belle Fourche, S.D.; Carolyn Arness, Las Vegas; and Don, Bozeman, Mont. They have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
