Heather Noel Raasakka and Michael Allen Franca, along with their parents, Michael and Gail Raasakka of Stanley, and Bob and Lisa Franca, Minot, would like to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
She is a full-time student at Minnesota State University Moorhead and plans to graduate with a fine arts degree in photography. She grew up in Stanley, and graduated from Stanley High School in 2008.
He grew up in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 2007. He attended Minot State University for two years, and plans to attend Lake Region Community College, Devils Lake, in 2012 to study wind energy.
Their wedding and reception will be Friday, Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. in West Minot Church of God in Minot. The reception and dance will follow in the Grand International Inn in Minot.
