Renae Van Berkom and Joe Evensvold, along with their parents, James and Betty Van Berkom, Powers Lake, and Rudy and Myrle Evensvold, Blaisdell, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
She is a native of Powers Lake and graduated from Powers Lake High School. She earned her degree in natural resource management from Dickinson State University. She is a private lands technician with Ducks Unlimited and the Fish and Wildlife Service at Lostwood National Wildlife Refuge Complex near Stanley.
He is a native of Blaisdell and graduated from Stanley High School and attended North Dakota State University in Fargo. He is a contractor along with his brother and father. They own and operate Evensvold Construction in Stanley. He also ranches.
The wedding and reception will be Saturday, Aug. 7, at 6:30 p.m. in Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Stanley. The dance will follow in the Community Building in Stanley. No invitations are required to attend.
