Roy and Janice Pfeifer of Rugby will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, June 20. A Mass will be held in their honor at 10:30 a.m. in Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby, followed by an open house reception and lunch in the church basement. The event will last until 4 p.m. There will be a program at 1:15 p.m.
Janice Kremer and Roy Pfeifer were married June 20, 1960, in Balta. They lived and farmed south of Rugby until their retirement, when they moved to Rugby.
They have five children: Thresa Pfeifer, Devils Lake: Hilda Eldevik, Kenmare; and Gerold Pfeifer, Edwin Pfeifer and Neil Pfeifer, all Rugby. They also have four grandchildren. They request no gifts.
