Dining with Diabetes North Dakota Style will once again be offered in Minot at the Parker Senior Center beginning in mid-June. Sponsored by the North Dakota State University Extension Service, First District Health Unit, Minot Commission on Aging and the St. Joseph's Community Health Foundation, the four-week education course teaches those diagnosed with diabetes how to create healthy meals and learn up-to-date information on diabetes-centered topics such as nutrition, exercise planning and medical tests. The once a week classes begin on Tuesday, June 15 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. and following each Tuesday. There is a registration fee of $25 per person and pre-registration is required. Family members of caregivers of diabetes patients are able to attend for $5. For more information or to register, call 857-6450 by June 7.
