April 5, 2010
By DAILY NEWS STAFF

The N.D. Department of Human Services' Minot Regional Child Support Enforcement Unit is moving from its current location to a new address on Wednesday.

Beginning Friday, parents should seek services at 325-28th Ave. SW, Suite C in Minot, across the street from Deneschuk Homes and Midwest Auto Glass.

State Child Support Enforcement Division director Mike Schwindt said the move will temporarily disrupt local services, with only limited phone service available on April 7 and April 8, as work stations and computers are moved. Customers will be able to contact the Minot Regional Child Support Enforcement Unit at 857-7696 (fax number is 857-7777) or the central office customer service line in Bismarck at 1-800-231-4255. Parents can also conduct normal business on the secure Web site at (www.childsupportnd.com).

Customers will be able to visit with caseworkers in person again on Friday.

Fundraiser under way for survivors of sexual assault

Annie Langseth began a 10-week fitness journey at ATA Blackbelt Academy in Minot known as the Ultimate Bodyshaping Course, and came up with the idea to also help others along the way.

Langseth has begun a fundraising effort to benefit the Strong Body/Joyful Heart Foundation, a foundation that helps survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse.

Langseth has pledged to donate funds to the foundation for each pound she loses, and she's seeking the help of others to offer additional donations to the foundation.
