Sara Kauffman and Joseph Mwagura were married Jan. 1 at Highland Retreat Center in Bergton, Va.. Their parents are Paul Kauffman, Wolford, and the late Gwen Kauffmann, and Stephen Mwagrua, Muchena, Zimbabwe.
They met in Zimbabwe, where she was working for the Mennonite Central Committee as an education consultant and he was working as a loss control manager at Shoprite.
They now live in Greencastle, Pa., where she is a teacher's assistant for the Head Start program and he volunteers at Booksavers.
