Pvt. Jesse Berg of the North Dakota Army National Guard completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Benning, Ga., on Oct. 8, 2009, and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, S.C., on Dec. 9, 2009. He attended the course of 42A-Human Resource Specialist and is now a member of Headquarters, Headquarters Detachment 231st Brigade Support Battalion in Valley City.
In civilian life, Berg has plans to attend college to obtain a degree in construction/engineering. He is a 2008 graduate of Minot High School. His parents are Kendall and Tammi Berg of Minot.
Pvt. Ryan Brown of the North Dakota Army National Guard completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Knox, Ky. on Sept. 11, 2009. and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, Va., on Nov. 21, 2009. He attended the course of 92A-Automated Logistical Specialist and is now a member of the 3662nd Maintenance Company in Devils Lake.
In civilian life, Brown plans to attend Lake Region State College, Devils Lake, and seek employment. He is a 2009 graduate of Four Winds High School. His parents are Kevin Brown and Fran McDonald.
