Gary and Nancy Armstrong celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with friends and family.
Nancy Bone and Gary Armstrong were married Oct. 30, 1959, in Zion Lutheran Church in Minot. She graduated from Minot State Teachers College and taught schools in Fargo and Cavalier from 1962 to 1968. He graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo in 1967 with a degree in pharmarcy. He worked as a pharmacist in Cavalier; Walla Walla, Wash.; Alexandria, Minn.; and Elkhart, Ind. In 1986 they bought their own drug store in Bourbon, Ind. They returned to Minot in their retirement to be close to family. Their son, Mark, is deceased.
