Alden and Ruth Auran, formerly of the Westhope area, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday, Sept. 5. with a card shower. Cards may be sent to them at: 10274 Highway 10, Dickinson, ND 58601.
Alden Auran and Ruth Brown were married Sept. 5, 1949, in Maxbass. They both worked in the Westhope Post Office for many years.
They have four daughters, Terry Martin, Park Rapids, Minn.; Patricia Meuchel and Wanda Auran, both Dickinson; and Melodie Kitzman, Newburg. They have nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
