Dewey and Bev Ward of Minot are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an Alaskan cruise.
Dewey Ward and Bev Johnson were married Aug. 2, 1959, in Faith Lutheran Church in Palermo.
He worked for the Minot Fire Department for 39 years with the last 17 of those years as the fire chief. She was employed in th retail field for many years.
They have three children, Kym Reiter, Minot; Kevin Ward, Lake Metigoshe; and Kent Ward, Bismarck; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
