Don and Bertha Wald, Minot, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house beginning at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 25, in the Knights of Columbus Club Room, Minot, Their children and their families will host the event. The family requests no gifts.
Don Wald and Bertha Bartsch were married July 22, 1959, in Balfour. Don was a draftsman and estimator at Minot Sash and Door. They have nine children, Mary Zeece, Andover, Minn.; Deena Elm and Steve Wald, both Minot; Duane Wald, Kent, Wash.; Pam Thomas, Austin, Texas; Julie Stewart, Port Angeles, Wash.; Doug Wald, Mesa, Ariz.; Jeff Wald, Loveland, Colo.; and Aaron Wald, Seattle; 24 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
