John and Lorraine (Bengs) Schendel, Moorhead, Minn., formerly Minot, will celebrate their 50th anniversary May 31. There will be a reception following the church service in First United Methodist Church, Fargo, and a potluck at their home at noon. The couple requests no gifts.
They were married June 5, 1959, in Holmes United Methodist Church, Reynolds. Their children, Jody and Brian, live in West Fargo and John Jr. lives in Newcastle, Wash. They have eight grandchildren. E-mail schendel50th@comcast.net for more information.
