FARGO (AP) - Stocks of all types of wheat in North Dakota on Dec. 1 totaled 176 million bushels.
The Agriculture Department said that's up 30 percent from a year ago. Prices were higher a year ago, leading more farmers to sell.
The stocks include spring, winter and durum wheat.
On-farm stocks in North Dakota were estimated at 130 million bushels, up 49 percent from last year. Off-farm stocks were at 46.3 million bushels, down 5 percent.
