The 32nd annual convention of Women Involved in Farm Economics (WIFE) was held Nov. 19-22 in Nebraska City, Neb.
North Dakota delegates Deb Dressler of Richardton, Vernice Balsdon of Osnabrock and Marlene Kouba of Regent attended the convention, which covered topics ranging from international trade and inspection of imported meat to wind energy projects and the health benefits of grain sorghum.
During the convention, two North Dakotans were elected to serve on the organization's board: Debra Dressler as first vice-president and Marlene Kouba as the area director for the state.
