Ryan Neil

Ryan Neil, age 21, of Newburg, died on arrival at a Bottineau hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 5, at 11 a.m. in the Dovre Lutheran Church in Newburg. There will be no reviewal, cremation has taken place.

Our Beloved Son, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, Cousin, Godfather and Friend Ryan Dale Neil, went to be with his creator on Tuesday, July 1, 2008.

Ryan was born on June 26, 1987, to Timothy and Naomi Neil. He was born in Fargo, ND, and then moved to Billings, MT, as a little boy, and was raised in Billings and Newburg. Ryan graduated from Newburg High School and went to college for a time in Wahpeton, for business. He decided college wasn't his calling and went to work for the family business hanging drywall in Billings for the summer. He went back to Newburg and got a job at Sund Manufacturing. While working there, he found the job he was very proud of at Basin Service, working on oil rigs. He had his own house which he and Alyssa lived in with a couple of roommates.

Ryan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and was a great water-skier. His family was the world to him, as he was the world to his family. His dad said he was his "Lil' King". His good friends called him "Golden Boy". Anybody who knew Ryan knew he was a kind, loving person who would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He worked very hard to get the things he wanted in life. He loved to go fishing and hunting with his dad and friends. He had a love for cars, 4-wheelers, and of course motorcycles. Ryan loved music, especially listening to Elvis with his Uncle Mike.

Ryan is survived by: His parents, Timothy and Naomi Neil of Billings; his brother, Shane Neil of Billings; his sisters, Tasha Neil of Huntley, MT, Trista Neil and Mariah Neil, both of Billings; nephews, Tanner, Rhylee (Godson); a niece, Jauzlyn; a brother-in-law, RC Geiss; sister in-law, Kristine Klise; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a loving girlfriend, Alyssa Wick.

Ryan was preceded in death by his Grandparents Norman and Lillian Hansen, and Bob and Colleen Neil.

Ryan's family would like to extend their deepest thanks to Dave and Lisa Tonneson and to John and Jody Wick for watching over him.
