RUGBY – The Rev. Martin Henry Wenzel, 90, Rugby, formerly of the Willow City and Upham areas, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in a Rugby nursing home.

He was born Jan. 3, 1918, to Frederick and Anna Wenzel in Rock County, Wis. He married Lillian Martens Aug. 20, 1943, in Moorefield, Neb.

Survivors: wife; daughter, Marian Burrell, Aurora, Colo.; two grandsons; four great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Today, 11 a.m., St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rugby.

Burial: Today, 2:30 p.m., Lynch Lutheran Church Cemetery, Ruthville.

Visitation: Saturday, one hour prior to the service, in the church. (Anderson Funeral Home, Rugby)
