The celebration will include deals on merchandise, prize giveaways, in-store demonstrations, and celebrity appearances.
Minot’s store has been undergoing a remodeling project to add a new gardening center, grocery and pet department, and mezzanine in their hardware department. Customers will notice more displays throughout the store, as new mega racking has been installed.
“Every department has expanded, with better displays, and a larger amount of merchandise. Everything has been realigned so it makes more sense to somebody that’s never been in a Menards store before – for example, the grills are over with the patio furniture now,” said Stew Aikman, general manager of the Menards store in Minot.
“We’ve reorganized everything, and it certainly does make more sense where stuff is put,” he added.
The mega racking that has been installed in the store helps the store to be more customer friendly as well.
“The mega racking is put in so that the overstock is kept right above the items if we run out of stock, so we can help guests a lot quicker,” Aikman said.
Aikman said the remodeling project in the store has been ongoing for a year and a half, and customers may have noticed that some things have already been introduced to the store.
“The guest will notice that the products are expanded, and we’re going to have a lot more selection inside the store,” Aikman said.
Throughout the re-grand opening, customers can watch various how-to demonstrations, including installing vinyl siding, choosing a swing set for the kids, working with closet organizers, how to use a nail gun, and how to install a replacement window, among many others.
Customers are also able to register for prizes that will be given away during the week, including gift certificates, a washer, a garage door opener, an air compressor, flooring, and many other items.
