Side not on COLA. Funny they want to reduce it 1%, when every bill has gone up...Home insurance, Xcel, Midcontinent, YMCA, etc.

I did my 20+ years. They build the new dorm for the kids on base with kitchens, then don't pay them BAS, so they eat at dining facility and spend base pay money on food to eat in kitchen in their dorm rooms. Just not too sure commisaries are vital.

I guess everyone has to be as thrifty as possible after Bush/Cheney collapsed the economy in 2008 with 10 trillion of debt and 10 jobless souls of what they are calling the "great recession"....thanks Bush/Cheney and friends.

"we support the Military"? So we all complain about not being able to keep up with expenses due to big oil in the area but an E-4 (CPL/SPC/SrA) married with two kids is able to qualify for food stamps. Tell me again how Military life is so good.
