Send the entire Congress and the entire Obama Administration to Syria to fight the war on terror in the Middle East.

It will be supported by the 90 percent of Americans who are tired, sick to death, of this never ending fiasco.

If they want to fight the war on terror so bad, then they can go and fight too. They're all chickenhawks, everyone of them, doesn't matter if they are dumbocrats or rethuglicans, they can fight too.

Diane Feinstein and Chuck Schumer can lead the way with no guns in their hands.

It would be a great day for America.

Just think all this is because of religious beliefs! God created Man. Cain killed Able. Man has been killing man for their so called God. They die for Allah! We die for our religious beliefs! In the end we all die! So much for the intelligent life on this planet!

The article says..."During the past decade, U.S. strategy against terrorists has been primarily defensive"...

Whaaaa. The use of "defensive" here must be in the same context as the use of defense in "department of defense" formerly known as the "department of war". Has the MDN so blanked out he Bush years that it has forgotten the Iraq war?

willgrr, did you read where bdgi said for those who actually need it, he could support that?

For those who don't actually need it, who could be gainfully employed at some kind of job, I don't support life-time SNAP benefits or welfare.

Saying "vets and children" while leaving off those who are able to work but choose not to limits the argument...in your favor.

No surprise there. Another emotional ploy by a liberal.

Another thing. Certain people will go on and on about "waste" in gov't, especially Dept. of Defense waste. (Toilet seats)

But what about "waste" in other gov't spending? And what about "fraud?"

I do not mean to insult "veterans and hungry children" but there are examples of waste and fraud in the Dept. of Agric. SNAP program. Let's get Dept. of Agric. as well as Dept. of Defense cleaned up and accountable, shall we?

But wait, there's more. While we're at it, let's clean up ALL gov't waste and fraud and make ALL gov't programs accountable.

What a wonderful world that will be

The Toyota Tundra has more domestic parts/labor than our big three. We must fight terrorism smart. Profiling works in the fight because the vacant eyes are a give away (remember the Canadian border crossing find? It was the eyes. We can't waste money on Iraq type wars. We can't listen to Bengazi news and take our eyes off the big picture. The reds have made Bengazi the issue of the year--that kind of distraction is a danger to the country. We need to feel concern for every protector lost and stop the pres. bashing. Our mil. is doing well at getting the bad guys. Respect them all.

What if anything have all the investigations revealed? It is just a political game plan designed by Carl Rove--he said it. It gives fox (bengazi) talk something to fill their time and your ears instead of real news. They did it to Bill C. for 8 years and all they got is a girl friend--50% of us have one. Not nice but in the grand scheme of things--peanuts. Those who listen to or worship rush should get help--he is the problem not the answer. He is vulgar toward women. I like em. Dont be a fox brainwashed experiment. be a news junky and fact check everything. Have you noticed the blues don't lie on the internet like the reds? If the wealthy take control they will take your guns faster than any lefty--the history of our world has proven that.

Jack, you should know facts before you bear false witness and make unsubstantiated accusations.

Again, this thread is not about me. High ranking Army officers are speaking about the futility of our Iraq disaster. Our troops serving in Iraq have performed no service beneficial to the United States of America. It's way past time to be gone from there and end the occupations.

"There was NEVER any intention to "occupy".

Which is why we built the $700 million montrosity of an embassy and still have more than 130,000 US military in Iraq.

Bush's and Obama Iraq invasion and occupation is an utter disaster of US foreign policy which we will be paying for generations.

Don't let your kids join the military until the occupation forces leave Afghanistan and Iraq. Tell your neighborhood military recruiters to leave them kids alone.

I would prefer to see our soldiers and Marines disengaged and removed from the no-win situation in which our government leaders have placed them. Individuals who have held positions of leadership within our government are responsible for placing our soldiers and Marines in harm's way for reasons other than defending our nation. They need to be held accountable.

We need to make reparations to the people of Iraq for what we have done to them.

Iraq has never posed a threat to the United States. The people of Iraq have never threatened the people of the United States. When our soldiers and Marines wound or kill Iraqi civilians, they have committed war crimes.

There was no volunteering on my part to go over there twice. For those of you unfamiliar with today's military, people are assigned to units. Units are sent overseas. People go with their assigned units. Elements of my former unit have been deployed continuously since 2003. We all took our turns going.

What turned me against the US occupation of Iraq started at BWI on our way over there in Jan 2005. The TSA goons required us to remove our boots, belts, and blouses to search us for dangerous terrorist items even though we all had rifles and pistols on board our aircraft. At that moment I and most around me realized that something seemed fishy.

Also, we did not care about the Iraqi people we were supposedly sent to liberate. We called them "hajis", "ragheads", and worse. This from the Col's, th
