September 13, 2013

Up until May 29 a now vacant building behind a local brew-pub on Third Street Southeast operated as “The Mann’s Club,” a massage parlor offering a little something on the side to its card-carrying,......

Whistler, I liked the "truisms." Sorry about your getting skunked. At least you got out there and wet the line. Better than no fishing at all...

Well, OK, just one more....

Trusting a menopausal woman to control her emotions is like trusting a tornado to mow your lawn.

My last one...

If prison wardens were all women who are menopausal, crime would be non-existent.

When is a man most likely to complain about the mood swings of his wife in menopause?

When she's not present.

Q: What can a man do while his wife is going through menopause?

A: Keep busy. If you're handy with tools, you can finish the basement. When you are done you will have a place to live.

"Why do you girls always blame everything on us men?"

Now Whistler, you should know me better than that by now. I don't think men are responsible for everything bad, nor do I think men are responsible for everything good either. How's that for evenhandedness?

I was commenting on specific posts by specific men that could not be appreciated by me, a specific woman. What I should have said was "some men" instead of "men" like I did.

Hope that clears things up.

Maybe since some of the Minot residence are being offended by the word prostitution the police department should just charge these ladies with "selling crack".

I just can't understand the increased amount of prostitution activity. We shut down the strip joints, that should have ended it all. If we carefully legislate some more morality prostitution will surely be stamped out.

"I'd like to know how many city workers were going to this place. I've been hearing about this place for over a year now. Somebody wanted a bigger payout and didn't get it is what I think."

OOOOOOoooo! Graft and corruption you say? Intrigue!

The attitude towards prostitution and human trafficking seen in these comments only reflect the backward thinking of those who must have recently been deprived of these "services" by the City of Minot. Equating it to the function of the city counsel or the purpose of asking a woman on a date is not only remarkable, but makes me hope everyone I know never deals with you on any level. If these issues were genuinely understood aside from those individual's immediate and momentary self-indulgent biological needs, such adamant opinions may reflect what should go on in the real world between human beings--not what goes on in ones pants that needs gratification. If you feel this is a harmless service being denied you and your friends, you may want to enlist your daughters, nieces, wives and sisters into some harmless prostitution and human trafficking. Surely personal needs, "feeling good" and "servicing" surpass less popular emotions like civility and respect.

There will be allot of John Doe's going to court for paying for sex the way this reads. The article is more of a mass confession to the commission of crime than news.

and human trafficking???? Christ Almighty if these girls were doing this on their own free will how is this human trafficking. That's a little extreme i think. I'd like to know how many city workers were going to this place. I've been hearing about this place for over a year now. Somebody wanted a bigger payout and didn't get it is what I think.

If i paid to take a girl on a date, and afterwards sex happens, is that prostitution because i took here to 10 North Main, impressed her with 120 dollars meal, and she put out after the date?? Happens all the time and that isn't wrong. But you know*****well if it would have been McDonalds for dinner she would have had you drop her off. I seee no difference.

Children in NE Minot had to grow up around prostitution and you never did anything about it or just busted her every now and then. I am sorry why you let this person ever stay in Minot over the many, many, many years and continue their service is beyond me......
