our first 1% sales tax was for flood control dams in canada. they got hydro power--we got the shaft. the second use of the 1% was for MADC. MADC is government gone bad. I don't think the mukety mucks who want expansion will be happy until every acre of ND has a building or structure on it. What is the point?many longtime minot residents have left and continue to leave because of the "progress". we need new people in city and state govt.

Hey Jeff, Great idea. Run for city office. The current council is more concerned about spending money out of our pockets for stupid ass thinks like a Taj_Mahal football field for the Money Sucking University that can't even fill the stands. And then deny a business to expand on the north end of town. They should have asked the people on the north side of the river. They were screaming after the flood that we needed a business like this.
