First, it doesn't get dark enough until after 10 PM in July. Perhaps 1 AM should be enough time for everybody to set up what they bought. Second, I agree that the ordinance should be scrapped (the people voted with their lighters to prove a point). Maybe then I can avoid the call to friends that live out of town to come light off our fireworks at their house. Besides the police have more important things to do. That will save on phone calls to the police so they can take the more important calls. Third, if the noise is becoming an issue for you, you may wish to get soft ear plugs for the holiday. Fourth, thanks to all the Minot residents who spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on a beautiful fireworks display to celebrate Independance Day. My family really enjoyed your show.
