Hmm.Got things done? He said the dams would be dry, hid the deal with Canada and left true flood control for others. We have Hostefest instead of flood control. Maybe yes on Shemmp.

Stricter conditions is meant by as home improvement codes, not over looking city annexation laws and ensuring homes in 2 mile radius are up to's sad it took a flood to ensure these requirements are finally being met after so many years......

One more thing Mr. Schempp had his chance at city manager and city finance director......and we don't need to go backwards but forwards and maybe start from scratch over the next few years?

If you have issues with the city, first and foremost, you should run for Alderman. Second, there are process in place to recall your Aldermen and other means to resolve your issues. Third, Chet Reiten yes was a great man, but the city did have faults even then and the beast has shown its head, and I think with the flood with new homes I am glad there are stricter conditions. Yes you will hear complaints over and over with the roads, but it starts with your Alderman, Mayor....maybe you should run?
