They can stiffen the DUI laws all they want to...but if law enforcement is going to play judge and jury for certain individuals...its all a MUTE point.

I would suggest the latter worried American...SPECIAL TREATMENT...they had city,county and highway patrol at the scene...this gal was obviously plowed if she was from Minot...it is well lit until at least the lights at 46th avenue.

"It turns out that an unidentified female driver may have been the responsible party." What? Really?? Unidentified why?? Might as well say that it "turns out" we are hiding something or dropped the ball on this one. Did they wait too long to test blood alcohol? I am sorry, but it is not that dark out there to make a mistake like that sober and end up killing an innocent person. Crazy!

Who is this unidentified female driver? Why isn't she identified? Why wasn't she charged? Sounds like bad police work or someone is getting special treatment from the police dept. Who is she related to?
