I'd say, from past experience, that centerish's disapproval hasn't stopped anyone from posting yet.

Now this a first. Dusty can count... Well, that is amazing considering the baseless rants of all of his blogs. As long as you are totaling things, lets put Billdoesntevergetit with his and you come up with a dozen more posts for the two rummys. Oh, heck, let go to the next blog-on Baucus---How do we rate there with the two mortar brains. Oh, gosh, another 30 blogs and 22 more for stumpybilldon'tever.. More than 50% of the blogs are from two guys who do nothing but foam at the mouth and blog with no factual basis ... But, he can count...that is amazing in itself.

I think willgrr and Veritas like to go fishing. Perhaps the best method they've discovered yet is using smelly bait to troll for the big ones.

Such despondency, such woe...(just a couple of words from Veritas' thesaurus c/p).

"Sorry about the Senate vote. Better luck next time."

I think something like the above phrase, or a reasonable facsimile, must have been the sentiment of some after the ACA vote.

Ain't politics grand?

DustOff, I knew about the "poll" before I asked willgrr about it. We all know about it, that it doesn't exist. And on that, we can agree.

Beautiful weather outside today!!

Obama doesn't know squat.

There are 170,000 metric tons of gold that has been mined since mankind began using gold as a medium of exchange and other uses. Gold is an industrial metal and has many practical uses besides jewelry and coinage. A computer uses gold in its circuitry. Satellites have gold in them.

170 thousand tons equals 5,465,500,000 troy ounces of gold. That amount of gold, all of the gold in the world that has been mined, is worth 8.2 trillion dollars at 1500 dollars per ounce.

The debt of the US gov is 17 trillion dollars or more than twice the value of all of the gold in the world.

Obama needs to be scolded for being a profligate spendthrift.

In more precise words, Obama is an idiot.

"Ninety-two percent of Americans favor background checks for all potential gun buyers, according to a new CBS News/New York Times poll."

"This poll was conducted by telephone from January 11-15, 2013 among 1,110 adults nationwide."

Yes, ProgLib, I read your source. Thanks for citing. However, it didn't validate willgrr's particular assertion. Here we go, peat and repeat...

"94% of North Dakotans wanted background checks. Less than 6% didn't."

Now where's that poll? Since I don't think it can be found, much less cited, I will say again that willgrr's percentage is baloney.

What he should have said in his speech about the Senate failing to pass a bill requiring background checks was,"You can talk the talk, but you don't know how to walk the walk!" An article in the New Yorker quotes Senators Mitch McConnel and Lindsay Graham that they are not in the Senate to vote the way the American people want them to, they are not owing to the public who voted them in just because we (the public) pay their salaries, benefits, etc. It is this kind of attitude, along with other Senators who are willing to start additional military action that is what give Congress a bad name and why the American voters rating of them is so*****low. They are there for the money, benefits and nothing else, and they are there to make sure that nothing that the POTUS proposes ever sees the light of day. But you can believe if a Republican gets in, a lot of things will get passed and the worst thing that they will do is do away with the Affordable Health Care Act!!

That's the Obama way.. Handle it..don't bother me I am the POTUS and I don't need to get my hands into this mess. Trouble is he has brought all these people on board and they were dumb in the 1st place and then being led by dumber makes things that much worse.

A good leader KNOWS whats going on in his circle.. Obama has not a clue..He just blames someone else and if that doesn't work he blames the Republicans..

Any other POTUS would have had us dug out of this hole you refer to 2 years ago.. Not Obama he keeps digging the hole deeper because he is surround by incompetent advisers..

How many people has Obama fired and replaced? NONE!!!

Like any position created by the Government when the wrong person is in charge sh Happens.. Obama has proven time and time again he cannot keep his mind on the pulse of the offices he has control of.

Why doesn't he know about the large quantities of ammo OR DOES HE?

Why doesn't Obama know he has people on Benghazi who request security and didn't get any?

Why doesn't Obama hold his people accountable for their actions..

Why because he doesn't have a clue whats going on. Do you know why he doesn't have a clue? Because the people reporting to him don't trust him and he can't make a decision without waiting 3 weeks so they just don't bother to keep him informed..not that it matters he wouldn't understand half of whats going on anyway.

The guy is just plain dumb with and ego as big as the world. Ever work for a boss who knows it all and doesn't want to be bothered with the day to day activities? He expects you to handle everything and not bother him?

The Government scans all of these web sights, knows who you really are, where you live, and what you said. Not even your tin foil hats can protect you from their spying eyes. Just FYI to all of you paranoid nuts. Be afraid, be very afraid. Have a nice day.

Any one besides me find it interesting the Homeland Security is stockpiling weapons and ammo? At the same time Obama is trying to take away peoples guns..

Who was that that said we didn't need our guns and we don't need AK47s..and the Government is not a threat?????

What is it Homeland Security is building up for? they buy more ammo then the Army does..

So where is the next war going to be? Right here on American soil I suspect..

Oh, boy, another war to jump into without looking. Looks like a right wingers dream. Wingers have never met a war they did not like. I wonder if the WMD's are in Syria. Oh, goody, and on the day they dedicated the Great WMD hunter's library. How appropriate.

1972 and after most of the deinstitutionalistion happened. Nixon was President - Senate Majority the Democratic Party - House Majority the Democratic Party. Link was Governor of North Dakota in 1973 Democrat. We got our lovely Group home that was put on our block in the 80's. After selling that house, I see they have built 4 more on that neighborhood. The Value of our house dumped when they did that. They were trying to escape the group homes all the time. That's all the proof I need.
