That is just terrible, those politicians are heartless if they don't first cut their own expenses before taking away our National Treasures and Historical sites. The Whitehouse is not really a big deal but the Smithsonian is worth fighting for.

Quote from Boehnor on sequester bill-- "I got 98% of what I wanted!"

Get rid of that useless turkey B1B bomber that costs a fortune to keep in the air, breaks constantly, and has no real mission, thus the fact that they have already mothballed half of the fleet. Build a 100 more B52s and save Billions.

Dusty, Congress would be the one in charge of the US Defense Department. The Pres only controls the day to day operations.

So, disty, is my quote incorrect? Would John Boy have said that if he did not put most all of the bill together "98%" or approve of it all. We have done little but compromise to the right wing position and this was no different. You don't have the guts to admit that your boys are nuts and wrong, but then again, so are you disty.

The Government is only as intelligent as the person in charge.

Obama is in charge. If he lets the military do across the board cuts then Obama is the guy to point the finger at.

Seems Obama thinks he is NOT part of whats wrong with America.. Its always "their" fault but never his.

His lack of decision making and his bullheaded ways if a person is a Republican is what is causing all the problems in America.

A good Prez is a leader.. a bad prez is a dictator.. Obama dictates he doesn't lead..

Obama figured he could blame all the sequester on the Republicans.

. Looks like that backfired didn't it?

He tried to pass stupid gun laws..

That backfired too.

The ground under his feet is turning to quicksand and he is sinking..

Hid Dem buddies have a reelection in 2014 and they are more then willing to NOW throw Obama under the bus. They know he will be gone 2 years after the next 2014 election.

Montana senator a fine example.. Now hes trying to make nice and excuse himself from the Government spending to try to get reelected..

Good Luck with that..

Sooooo, disty, Boehnor did not say that or did not mean that or maybe in your mind he wasn't there. Oh, and those 400 plus filibusters in the Senate by the Repubs did not happen. Well, maybe the international report of torture of US prisoners did not come out this week either. You wingers are right in there.... Alzheimers anyone.

progressive liberal I think Obama takes your advice daily.. I suspect he and Michelle smoke pot every chance they get.

Why else would he be doing such a pitiful job? Pop slows down your brain waves.. Obama's pilot light has been out for years now..

And there lies the problem with half the country. They cannot face up to the world so they smoke pot to make themselves feel good.

A person who works for a living and has accomplishments doesnt need pot or alcohol to make him feel good.

We live in a druggies up nation and the hippies in the WH have just made it worse..

Gosh, dusty/billdon'tgetanything, you two would make up anything to justify your unjustifiable positions. The Republicans are the party of obstruction and have done so for five years. They are still doing it. They wanted the sequestration and Boehnor got what he wanted. If you ever did research from independent sources, you would finally have the ability to speak intelligently about the issues. The Republican party does not exist anymore. It is a group of power hungry radicals who work for the rich and the big corporations. Your posts border on the ridiculous. You both have to post again and again aimlessly into your lunacy in the vain attempt to pacify your own minds (what little there is of it).

Code word: Republican aka mean & nasty. Broad generalization status, highest.

Code word: Democrat aka noble & virtuous. Investigative status, iffy.

Code word: centerfield. Misnomer alert status, highest.

Obama signed the sequester when he had the power of Veto in his hands.. Therefore Obama owns it.. sorry boys try to face up to the truth sometimes.. Their philosophy is: make*****up, blame it on Republicans, then try to distort the truth to prove the BS we previously talked about. This guy hates capitalism so much, he's willing to look like a fool in his attempt to destroy the Republican party. Never in the history has this country seen such partisanship. There has always been differences in opinions, but regardless of who had control of the Presidency or Congress, things got done and people worked together. He makes everyone feel that if they work with the other party, they will be outcast from their own.

I suspect we will have dead people all over and airplanes will fall from the sky and Obama will use Sandy Hook human shields to win in 2016. Its in the cards..
