What political group had armed sympathizers in the Weimar Republic?

The Socialists. The armed sympathizers were the communists. They were good at extorting from farmers and peasants and running pell mell around Berlin. The communists, with their myopic ideals and the demagogy of their dogma, would not relent.

What group in Germany took on the nasty task of taking the fight to the uncontrollable communists? The elite were scared for their lives to resist, so what group?

The Nationalists.

The communists wanted a dictatorship of the proletariat, not democracy. Big difference. The Germans weren't going to fall for it, but had to fight the armed communists. It had to be done, the communists were determined to take control of Germany.

Bolshevism regards any criminal act to kill the capitalist system as justifiable. Big trouble for you if you are not in the club.

Raffle away... one every day.

What a terrible interpretation of inter-war German politics, MS! Interesting that you sugar-coat the Nazis as 'the Nationalists'. Please remind the rest of us how they were interested in preserving democracy, or above demagoguery and crime in pursuance of their political agenda.

I'm sorry that my words weren't erudite enough. My apologies.

You can read. It was simple enough.

Maybe a terrible interpretation, but not misinterpreted.

lorexxx women will have to register just like men now. Not that we will ever have a draft again. The days of nations fighting nations are over. It is more like a terrorist covert type warfare and cyberwarfare now.

lorexxx you apparently cannot read what I stated was that the types of warfare has changed. Their will always be wars as long as we have people like you who cannot understand the written language.

More Americans have died just since 1960 from gun incidents — suicides, accidents, and homicides — than died in every war in U.S. history. The deadliest war the U.S. has ever had is the war we waged against ourselves. 1,400,000 dead Americans due to guns.
