I'll cry 'foul' on this one. You don't need stab Rick in the back while you pat your own.

Funny how the hew and cry is to save the middle class when it has been the stalwart and the financial backbone for the gov. The billionaires want to save the middle class because it provides the gravy train that the billionaires enjoy. If the MC doesn't pay enough, the Wall Street mavens loan some more money to the gov so it can earn interest on the money loaned, interest paid by the taxpayer.

In any event, Wall Street wins, the middle Class loses and poor souls like Rick Berg get blamed. He was used by the billionaires.

Don't have to kick him when he's down.

Leave Rick Berg out of your gloating about your accomplishments.

Now my question is: how can this vote possible be considered "responsible governance" in the least?

Spending cuts--real ones, not those that will come about 10 years from now--are absolutely the only way for this runaway train to be stopped.

Wouldn't it be great if they did cut spending? They could go back to 2008 or 2007 spending and it would be amazing. But, you and I both know they won't do it. We have way too many demanding what they think they are entitled. Just look at the chaos that oocurred when a couple thousand showed up for a 1000 Section 8 housing vouchers. And there were many YOUNG able bodied people in that line. and on top of that here in our own state we have Hoeven at the National level and Dalrymple at the state level giving other people's money away like candy.
