"ND and Minot always state positive news about republican issues and negative news about democratic issues that is a fact!"

Sorry, Worried, not a fact. Otherwise, Joel Heitkamp's "News & Views" show wouldn't have the popularity it does. Democrat values & platform issues, plus critiques of Republicans & their issues, happen on there all the time.

I will say that host Joel is polite enough to folks who disagree with his take, but he is no pushover and does get his viewpoint (and many Dem talking points) stated. Every day.

Now for something different.

A possible DC anamoly? The new Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, who is a Democrat and an NRA member. Betcha those DC folks couldn't see her coming, not by a long shot.

Pun was unintentional, but I'm keeping it.

Not at all I just find it ironic how one sided it is! Disgusted you cannot see it because you are on that side of the fence, but open your eyes. ND and Minot always state positive news about republican issues and negative news about democratic issues that is a fact!

What difference does that make? Is that the only source of your thinking or reacting?

disgusted I am with you on that but do you see any editorials anywhere complaining about the state and local tax increases or the state spending anywhere? Do you?

WA, of course we have a RINO governor. I have written about him many times. I have NOT seen the democrats legislators berate him, only agree to his spending. Have you raised heck with your democrats? I raise concerns daily with mine. It will not change until the voters come together. I ask all those who are serious about the spending state wide to come together and demand that they cut back. Are we together?

WA - I don't know if you are "sure".....I think you are more like me in that you "feel" this is so.....I hope we can come together on that.

disgusted I get so tired of the democratic party as getting all of the blame for this countries debt problems! We have a two party system in Congress that pass these spending bills and the House is in charge of the purse strings. Our state has a massive surplus budget and we are still being tax to death at both the local and the state level as if we were a state with no budget surplus. Yet nothing is mentioned about it. Why? If we had a Democratic Governor I am sure the MDN would be writing scathing articles about it.

Not all of the city council is Republican. But, I am all for cutting spending. Have you contacted your city councilmen or your state legislators suggesting where to cut? MDN can say whatever they want just like any paper. What are you writing to your legislators and councilmen?

disgusted I don't see any MDN articles complaining about all the federal taxpayers money being wasted in ND or all the state and local taxes placed on ND taxpayers by this republican Governor. Why is that? Whenever it comes to republicans spending or raising taxes it seems that nothing ever gets mentioned. The city of Minot is all republican and look how they have exploded the city budget and no one complains?

Conrad, Dorgan and Pomeroy were there for almost 30 years bringing home the bacon. And yes NOW we have Heidi and Hoeven who bring home the Bacon. Conrad and his gang hadn't passed a budget since about 2009. Berg, voted to repeal one of the largets tax hikes in history. NOW, are you going to hold Heidi to the fire to stop the pork? Hoeven is also a huge spender. Are you writing to him everyday to tell him to stop the pork, stop the money to the Jamestown airport, DL airport, the infrastructure for north Minot, etc etc etc. Or are you still throwing stones deflecting blame while supporting Heidi's spending and support of Reid?

disgusted refresh my memory, we had Rep. Sen Hoeven, Dem. Sen Conrad, Rep. Rep. Berg and Rep. Gov. Dairywhipple that seems to me a republican majority which should take some responsibility for the states federal welfare activities!

AIt is easy to transfer blame isn't it? You lush your party to make the mess and then blame the other party for playing.
