Minot: Workshop: "Storing and Preserving Fruits and Vegetables"
September 30, 2008

The Ward County Extension Service will host a workshop on Storing and Preserving Fruits and Vegetables 7 p.m. Sept. 30 at the North Central Research Extension Center south of Minot on Hwy. 83. With the higher cost of fresh fruits and vegetables, this workshop will focus on fall fruits and vegetables grown in this region, such as squash, potatoes, pumpkins, carrots and apples. Food safety agent Gail Slinde will present the program, which is free and open to the public.
