Annual Ward County Ag Improvement meeting: Coffee and registration at 9 a.m., meeting to follow, North Central Research Extension Center, south of Minot. The meeting is open to all farmers and agri-businessmen interested in agriculture and will focus on world developments in agriculture and soil health. Mike Krueger of The Money Farm will be the keynote speaker. Frayne Olson, NDSU crops marketing specialist, will talk about local marketing issues. There will also be presentations on Canada Thistle control and the farm program, and a tour of the new North Central Research Extension Greenhouse.

The Mouse River Players Community Theatre will present A.R. Gurney's "The Dining Room": Today through Saturday, 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, 2 p.m., The Arlene Saugstad Theater, downtown Minot, 115-1st St. SE. Season tickets may be used. Individual tickets will also be sold for $10 per ticket. Call 838-3939 for general seating reservations as seating is limited.
