All Saints Episcopal Church will not have its soup kitchen Thursday because of the New Yearás holiday. The soup kitchen will resume next Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The North Dakota Texas Hold'em Poker Championship Tournament, sponsored by the Minot State University Alumni Association: Continues today through Saturday, The Vegas Motel, Minot. The charity poker tournament raises money for MSU's scholarship fund and is expected to draw about 1,300 players from across the country and Canada. Call 839-3000 for more information.
