The Magicians (3-0) have connected on 25 triples on the young season...Adam Lawson staffed Our Redeemers'  68-45 win over Bottineau in boys basketball. The Crusaders improved to 7-0....MDN hockey purist/sportswriter Mike Kraft staffed Minot High's 15-2 laugher over Hazen-Buelah at Maysa Arena.

Of  interest: Former Williston State and Bismarck High guard Luke Martinez had a career-high 25 points to help undefeated Wyoming (11-0) take down the University of Denver in a non-conference game on Tuesday night. Martinez, a starter, is averaging 13 a game for the Cowboys.
