Fire damages home in northeast Minot
The Minot Fire Department was dispatched to a home in northeast Minot Wednesday afternoon for a report of a structure fire.
Firefighters arrived and found heavy smoke and fire coming from the front door and side windows. The homeowner exited the structure before the crews arrived.
The firefighters extinguished the fire. However, the damage from the fire has left the home uninhabitable.
Crews from all five fire stations responded and were assisted by the Minot Police Department, Trinity First Response Ground Ambulance, Montana Dakota Utilities and Xcel Energy. No injuries were reported. The fire is still under investigation.
