Kim Fundingsland/MDN Minot State University's air-supported dome "the bubble" is up again, rising over the turf at Herb Parker Stadium. This is the second year for the air-supported dome at MSU. The bubble covers the entire football and soccer field, measuring about 86,000 square feet. The apex of the structure is 70 feet high. The air-supported dome is used for various sports activities. An approximately $2 million project, it was financed with $1 million from the city of Minot's Community Facilities Fund and another $1 million was raised by the Minot State Development Foundation from private individuals, foundations and local businesses.
